Manage your Blueair Friend app account
To be able to control any Wi-Fi enabled air purifiers or air quality monitors with the Blueair Friend app, you first need to create an account on the app and add your unit to your account.
How to create an account on Blueair Friend app?
1. Download the Blueair Friend app from Apple AppStore or Google Play
2. Open the app and from the start page, select the option Register
3. Enter your personal details and select a password. Select Continue. A confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address
4. You are now ready to add your Wi-Fi enabled unit to your account! Select a device to connect.
Forgot your password?
If you can’t remember your password, follow these steps:
- From the app login screen, select Forgot password
- Enter your email address and select Continue
- An email is sent to your email address. Follow the instructions in the email to click the link
- Enter your new password and select reset the password
- The account is now updated with a new password. Go back the Blueair Friend app and login using your new credentials
Specificities of your app and your account
- You can add as many devices as you want to your account
- You can use the same account on different smartphones: You and your family can share the same account
We recommend to use only ONE account per home because the same unit can only be connected to one account. If another account connects to the same product, the connection to the previous account will be lost
- One Aware can control multiple Wi-Fi air purifiers via the app
- One Wi-Fi air purifier can be linked to one Aware at a time
- During the initial pairing, both the unit and the smartphone need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network
After this initial set-up, you can control your unit even when your smartphone is using a different Wi-Fi network or mobile data
- If you want to change Wi-Fi network for your air purifier or Aware, you will need to re-add the unit to your account
- We recommend that you use a direct Internet connection when registering. If you are connected to a VPN, please disconnect while creating your account
- Blueair accounts are divided into three regions: Europe, China and the rest of the world. You can only control products connected in the same region as where your account was initially created.
For example, if you created your account in the US and you are now moving to China, you will need to create a new account with a new email address from China
